What's New?

The place to watch for news and updates!

9/15/09 - Long time no post! Here is what I have been doing lately.

This is a Libertango resin for R. Brazil, he still needs his shoes finished in this pic.

This guy is a donation to a live show. I tried out a new technique on the roaning, it's all colored pencils! There is NO airbrushing on this guy!!

2/3/09 - I have opened a Cafe Press Shop with some of my flat artwork featured on various products. You can see what there is to offer here

 http://www.cafepress.com/EponaRisingArt

9/18/08 - Finished painting a John Henry mule resin (by Bonnie Shields) to a loud black semi leopard appaloosa. I call him Leonard, he just looks like a Leonard. He is to benefit the Mid Ark Model Horse Expo.

9/18/08 - Finished commission for Mel Fullwood of Australia. This is the Starlite Jumper (Nighthawk) remade to a stallion with a twitched ear and painted fleabitten gray. I tried out a new technique for the fleabites. They are each individually drawn on with watercolor pencil. Details handpainted in acrylic and pastels.

9/17/08 - Changed the mane and tail colors on Brandus, I like the lighter color better. He is still available for sale!

7/30/08 - Brandus resin photos!

7/25/08 -  Working on a custom order Puccini and a Brandus. Also have a Nighthawk to CM for a customer in Australia. Will post pics as soon as I have them. The Brandus will be a loud black leopard Appy and will be offered for sale.

6/30/08 - We have moved. We bought a house and 5 acres and have been super busy working on the land and getting everything in the house arranged.

5/7/08 - Mules and Arabian mare are done...here are a couple of pics!

5/2/08 - I have the mules about 75% done and will post photos soon. The CM Ruffian to an Arabian mare is sold. She is being painted a lovely dapple bay, photos also coming soon.  My Breyer Conn. Blue Velvet is available in a pre-sell to benefit Natural State Live. See http://www.myauctionbarn.com/ under Live Show Fundraiders to find the auction. It will run through 5/6/08.

4/16/08 - I am currently working on a team of pinto mules for L. Chisholm, I will post pics as soon as I get them done.

I am also working on a Breyer Ruffian that I have customized into a galloping Arabian mare. She has a new head (stolen from a Stone Arabian) and a new tail (used to belong to an Asad resin). I am going to paint her, she is ready to go, just haven't decided on color, anyone got any ideas?? I REALLY want to do black, but don't know if that would sell. I have also considered turning her into a him and making a portrait of Satan from the Walter Farley books.

Wander over to the sales page and see what's available. There are currently some items to benefit Natural State Live.
